They're called Indians again. Well, it's hard to keep track week by week. I'll check.

My impression is that Indian is the preferable term now.

Touché; similarly, I'm unsure what is currently preferred by those concerned re black or coloured (Afro-American is rarely used over here). Should it really matter as long as no offence is intended ? - and as the article (thanks) very correctly points out it's not up to the "white media" to decide the preferred terminology.
