All done bar 25 which I really can't grasp, even with 4 checked letters:

Idle Aussie, very nippy by the sound of it (5)

_ OLER

I've given Chambers a bashing but can't find a solution to either the definition (which I take to be Australian for 'idle'), nor the homophone for one who is nippy (BOLER not a word, MOLER for a tooth but doesn't work, or DOLER which might work one half but how is that nippy?)

Please help with a gentle nudge if you can!

Hi KT, I've just started. My solution to 20a isn't in Chambers either which makes me nervous! Can I check it starts with Y?

For 25d think of an adjective for where the cold regions are situated. The Australian slang is a homophone of this.
20a doesn't begin with y. Thiink of what bronze is. The solution starts with that.

See under the headword 'pole' in Chambers, the second of the two definitions of the grid entry.

can anyone who's done this confirm that the unchecked letters of 11a, 19a and 31a are ENS (not in that order) - having difficulty parsing those

Yes, those are correct. 11a and 19a are almost identical in their construction. 31a is 'trademark' Azed!
