I have solved all but 2 down - 'Sugar Japanese heaps onto starter of yakimono' (7). I have made the necessary adjustment to one of the crossing answers (13) and cannot see any adjustments which could be made in the others. However I can find only one word which fits the letters I have but that doesn't fit with 'sugar' which I assume is the definition. A pointer in the right direction would be more than welcome.
My newspaper was sadly missing the Sunday section of the paper and therefore I didn't receive my EV. Very upsetting. I know it's a pain but if anyone wouldn't mind scanning me a blank copy: pegster_@hotmail.com
I would be extremely grateful. Thank you!
Alwayspuzzled, I have a similar problem with 2 Down. I have a word meaning 'sugar' - it parses very well, but results in a clash at the second letter (of 2 D and also of 10 A).
