7d remove 'fat' from a clue word

Hi Jo, I think you might have got this mixed up with the Everyman.

8 D. Weed is a verb rather than a noun! And climbing = put it up the way (it's a Down clue). Add a famous Stephen...

10 A The answer is what you think it is! People have felt it's slightly iffy - why is the homophone lined to the US, across the pond?

9 A. Your first T is wrong.

I didn’t think 10 a was a homophone but referred to the us and uk expressions for the same thing (after the initial letter)
