Jadzia,

It intersects the name and takes in the two letters you should have changed

For the answer to the clue 'Worn out old etc' I have a word meaning every three years. Am I missing something?

I came across two definitions online: "occurring every three years" and "happening every other year"...you pay your money etc.!

Thanks muraria.

I got my def from Collins online.
But when I took Chambers off the shelf it gave the def as: 'biennial'.
As you say, you pays your money.

Also finished but can I just check that ‘ small tree cobras in large jars ‘ finishes with an S ?
Also the ‘every 2 years ‘ confusing definition clue ends nic rather than ric please ?

I don't have access to Chambers so you're probably right aslac but the online dictionaries I looked at have both as 'ric'.

My Chambers 10th only has the 'ric' ending.

And I have an 's' ending for the 'small tree cobras etc' entry.

I think the wordplay confirms RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary).
