Those clue numbers are right but the sequence isn’t 123, it’s a different sequence. Nothing too complex!

lumen - 13ac is an anagram of CONSENT ARR Z - a literary character from Denmark.

I actually tried that anag with x and y.... not Z.
Also thought of Hamlet when first read the clue, so failed all round.
NIce puzzle though. (Not as nice as Pac-Man one!)
