thanks to you all. have got no.13 now but have anagrammed the words mentioned but said no words matched.,for no.9. got no 24 and no.6 thanks to you. still some more to go though, no.37 got an answer for 39, but still not sure.hopeless with 48,49,67,76,and 90. but still plodding on. getting there slowly.

Heather, I'm glad you've been helped with some of your queries - and so long as you're still enjoying trying to get the answers, it's good to soldier on! The setters have done a great job in making this a tough, but fun, quiz.

maalone thanks for your comments, the quiz is brilliant as usual. i just feel like an idiot when i finally get an answer from peoples clues. i will keep plodding and hope to finish in time.

Phantom- a famous educational establishment .
One to go, stuck on 98 and feel it should be simple.
Still need to decide on 21 between bombings and ricochet.
