Hi!
Thanks for all of the entries - I really enjoyed them.
I counted 17 entrants with 28 entries.
I really liked rosalind #9 – Oooh! Matron!
Others that I liked a lot: fieryjack #10, nemo #15, dorrien #16, tyke51 #28, mattrom #19.
fieryjack’s subtractive anagram #25 was right up my street, but was just beaten by a nose by tyke51’s double definition #17

Track a sticky dog after rain?

Congratulations tyke51: your prize ties in with this week’s word. I hope you aren’t an Arsenal fan!

Thank you pedagogue for choosing such an excellent word with so many definitions and fun to clue (!) I don't do Clueless very often but couldn't resist this time.

Thanks Pedagogue - enjoyed the clip...funnily enough I did think about doing a clue based on `drop in ` pitches down under ! The Spurs one looks wonderful - for my sins I`m a Doncaster Rovers season ticket holder - looking forward to a trip to Sunderland and their Stadium of Light (think that`s the correct spelling!) on Good Friday.
See you all next time! 👕

Congrats, tyke51 and thanks, pedagogue. I don't know if I'm being extra-thick tonight, but I'm struggling to unravel the clue. A parse, please?

Track is a synonym for "pitch", and a "sticky dog" is a cricketing term for a particularly difficult cricket pitch to bat on after rain has been allowed to fall on it.

Thanks Pedagogue,
knowing nothing about cricket, (nor even trying to understand the game - sorry!) I stood no chance or getting the winning clue!
