Thank you pedagogue for choosing such an excellent word with so many definitions and fun to clue (!) I don't do Clueless very often but couldn't resist this time.

Thanks Pedagogue - enjoyed the clip...funnily enough I did think about doing a clue based on `drop in ` pitches down under ! The Spurs one looks wonderful - for my sins I`m a Doncaster Rovers season ticket holder - looking forward to a trip to Sunderland and their Stadium of Light (think that`s the correct spelling!) on Good Friday.

Track is a synonym for "pitch", and a "sticky dog" is a cricketing term for a particularly difficult cricket pitch to bat on after rain has been allowed to fall on it.
