Hi Malone, I was curious to see what others made of it. One might think that, due to large number of people who seem dissatisfied, there is a good chance that many will complain to the crossword editor. But I read somewhere, I think it was in a book called The Drunkards walk, that the greater number of people who witness an incident, say a crime, the lower the chance it will be reported - something to do with everyone assuming everybody else will do it. I don't know if this is similar but, if so, I might try and contact the editor myself.
