All this talk of parsing makes me ask...

2391 - fun puzzle - and finished - but I'm banging my head for parsing on 21D...

The puzzle is too new to give the clue/answer, esp. as the clue MAY refer to another answer.

But if some Specsolver could help out with the parsing once they're done, later on, I'd be very grateful!

PS on the internet version of the puzzle there is a typo - 22A is (3) not (5).

KT17 -Part of your answer includes an abbreviation for a unit of length - the question does too.

I thought it was a good, crafty, sneaky clue!

...and 17ac appears to be a new idea altogether, unless I'm missing something. It looks to me like 'most of' isn't performing the usual function - curtailment - but means instead that the complete word isn't being fully covered.
What did you make of it malone?

Drxx, sorry - I missed your post last night. I hadn't given 17 A much thought at the time, but I've had another look. I don't like it as a clue, but I suppose there's nothing technically wrong with it.
