Drxx, my copy is very tatty - but it looks like I have a T at the very start of the single letters list? PS I didn't have them all initially, I saw what was going to emerge.

Jazzlover, the preamble says 6 D is in SOED. I don't have that, but put Steg in anyway!

...but I can't see where you're getting the 2nd letter (N) from. Can you list the clue numbers you are using?

malone - I think we're looking for the normal clues (initial letters of) not the dropped letters.

Drxx, you're right - I was losing track of all the different strands to this! Being unable to decipher some of my scribbles didn't help.
