Late to this, so hoping someone still has their grid?

Finished apart from two interlocking clues, in which wordplay generates an extra letter.

12d Put most of drink in vat.
Have STA?E? Extra's N.
Wondered if it's te(a) in sta(n)d - stated could be put, in the sense of verbally, but stand for vat?

17a Naval vessels stores dry grub. Extra is T
Have S??B
