I am not keen on this weeks puzzle . THe definition and Letter-mixture clues have too many superfluous words and phrases that are just there to confuse.

The B comes from the capital of Switzerland - def is a bird.
Not sure about 11.

For 11 I've got HORSEY but I would have expected a noun.
