16d I guessed how it was going to work long before seeing the actual answer. Half a poet upwards makes the last 4 letters.

19d is technically wrong! (See the discussion on fifteensquared about this week's Quiptic if you want the anawer!)

Finished, but to use a football analogy, I have ground out the solution without ever really getting into full flow.
