I am annoyed that the setter has not specified which word is not in Chambers. As I dont have a current one , there are usually several words I cant find in my 1993 version.

I assume it is 1D -an annoying Americanism for the 5-letter subject.

Hi jigjag, I have the latest Chambers (a gift) and 20a doesn't appear in either form.

PS, 1d is given as both an abbreviation and the American spelling.

I can fit an Irish girl's name meaning Little fire.

Briish TV shows are difficult for me, never having seen them.
Even then I found the fourth name in the usual EV spot.

I have read the comments but not sure about the two clued entries.
One more hint will help.

I think the ultimate prize has nothing to do with the TV show.
