Thank you Malone. I was fiddling around with "lief" and "leve" at first. They tried to put me off the scent by writing "prize" instead of "prise"...….the cockwombles!!! (Doubt if that word is in Chambers?)

You should check the urban dictionary trelos as the word you used is a profanity / derogatory use only

I assumed that Cerasus. I don't own an urban dictionary, so am none the wiser.
A friend used this word to describe the person that scraped his car and drove off without leaving details.
