steve's is a subtractive - take "tree" from "perimeter" and anagram what's left

tatters - 3 or 5 are primes, 4 isn't; a gorilla is a PRIMatE

I see ginge's #16 as; ransom = price, with c (cocaine) exchanged for m (money).

I think ginge's must be something to do with EMPIR(e), but I confess that I don't see how it works
