H-A- must be four letter synonym for passion, you know the one. But why?

I also don't know about Laotian currency, but I thought the tradition was broad hints rather than absolute spoilers especially on Saturday. I may feel different if I'm stuck on Sunday but then it's time to quit.

It meant I got it eventually. Perhaps someone can help me with some I haven't got. For example, 6d Once oddly tense and thin, resembling a stop sign (10)
I have an answer, the crossers for which are O?T?N?O?A?. I'm not sure about the T or the O. Is this right and if so why? I haven't yet got 10ac or 15ac.
