Congratulations, Skyewalker, and thanks for hosting, Ginge.

Apologies as I haven't had a chance to look at the forum until now, Ginge, so I have only just seen your request for clarification.

I used c for conditions (as in t & c's, terms and conditions) and so city with no conditions became ity as you correctly realised. I used bestowed upon to link this to the end of hospital; it was only after submission that it dawned on me I could have tried "no conditions attached".

Hope that clears up any ambiguity, albeit belatedly!

Hi chrise,

Prostitute's bed = ho's pit
Son left a pair of boxers = Ali + Ty(son)

Hi heathcliffe, thanks for getting back. I thought that was the case and appreciate the expression is in the plural so I think the deletion would also be so either c's or c + c. I do like inventiveness so keep 'em coming.

Thanks for your choice, Ginge. Chuffed to have won against such stiff competition!

Enjoyed the clip. Can't remember if it was in Kenny and Morag's day or not, but there was one barmaid in the Wheatsheaf, who had previously worked in a not very salubrious establishment, and was sacked after a customer complaint. He had complained that his pint was flat. She offered to fart in it for him.

Shall rack the scrambled brains for next week.

Brilliant story skyewalker. I'd be willing to put money on her name being June who went with Kenny & Morag from the Siggy. Love the endorsement of my local !

Spot on, Ginge. Apologies for denigrating your local. Didn't remember where the lady had worked before, and am only going on hearsay as to the salubriousness, or not, of her previous place of employment. I thought it was a bit harsh that she was given the boot, but I don't think she could judge which customers could take her "banter" without offence.

Well done SW, I wouldn’t have got it without the parse.
Thanks for setting a Ginge, and for the mention and grammar lesson. Good stuff. Period.
