Now replace the answer at 6d with.........

Do we change the first cell of the title to 2001 from 20?

Also what in God’s name is the message and the discovery in the grid? I’m completely baffled!

I've got the two messages and I've almost completed the grid but I'm afraid message 21 means nothing to me. Sorry!

I've tried URBAN L, LURBAN etc along with the book's title with no luck at all. Have I got wrong letters? It seems to me a highly detailed knowledge of the book is necessary.

Sorry, I meant 47a - I don't know where 14a came from - a very senior moment I think.

As I mentioned earlier I've found three new rings but no idea about the fourth - any ideas?
