Little Corporal: big pig.

One of Napoleon's nicknames was "the little Corporal"
Napoleon was the leader of the pigs in Orwell's "Animal Farm"

Thank you pigale! I did wonder if you were making a reference to Napoleon's Continental Blockade policy. I read too much into your clue!

@dorrien - I did wonder about your's too. Never mind, have another go!

@tatters - Are you making a reference to Napoleon 'Blair' Hill?

@geevo (and welcome!) Am I reading this one right... Nap/o/ Seat Leon (the car?)
If not, you'll have to parse for me - I'm stumped!

Ah, cheers tatters! Didn't know that was Orwell's real name.

Can anyone shed any light on geevo's entry @ 21?!

Evening all!
Thanks for all your entries, as usual it has been a pleasure working through them.
I did think about picking BRANDY for the word this week... but, realising it could be seen as B randy, I thought again! Julian and Sandy would've had a field day with that one (Chris - tut tut!)
Many, many favourites; nemo @5, chris @7, pigale @18, geevo @21, marty @24, mattrom @25 and paul @35.
The 'stand out' clues, for me, were Mr A @13, Les @17 and skyewalker @30.
The winner this week, though, is Heathcliff @ 4 with,

Card game; solo, perhaps (8)

Well done heathcliff! Here's your prize. What else could it be...
