Downs are entered normally - no reverse, no anagrams. Be like a teetotaller though.

I have the 6-letter answer for Strain l(e)ash, but I can't fit it in anywhere. There seems to be a poet emerging in the central row, but even if it's right he was extremely prolific, and the thought of trawling all through looking for a 3-word title is daunting.

Thanks cockie.
Still not clear though be like a teetotaller is a hint.

Where does the 8 letter answer to last down clue go? That may trigger an aha moment.

Look at column 5 I have pencilled in the 3 letter answer to Green algae ... followed by the 8 letter. Hope this is correct!

Thanks qesue.
That finally explains how to enter.

The 3 letter answer for Green is now easy to guess but what is the parsing?

Still a lot of clues to solve.

Cockie, I think the poem's title is a word that describes what happens when you press ctrl, alt, del at the same time on a computer. This word is repeated twice to give a three-word title.

Hi Orson, I don't think it's that one but another 3-word title that describes what you are doing when you enter some of the down answers.

And the penultimate line of the poem links to the middle row in the grid.
