Thanks brendan! Couldn’t see connection between Racy and Blue at first. Assume it’s to do with Oxford /Cambridge.

I took it to be Racy, blue as in smutty, risqué!

You’re probably right. It's such a long time since I heard Blue used in that context I had forgotten about it.

The definition is racy = blue
So it would have to be as Malone said.....
If you took "light blue" as part of the clue to mean Cambridge's colours.......you would lose the definition .
