Sorry folks - just got it. Or I could say I now C it.

I've finished except for 2d - Like meadows in Peru (6). Sailor fits but it doesn't seem to relate to the clue.

Also, 15a and 9d seem to need a B removing but that interrupts the messages from the other extra letters.

2D and 36A are the 2 answers which "must have their letters jumbled together to produce their 2 entries."

15A and 9D are the "which has left affected entries in 2 other clues", the letter in these 2 is omitted from the definition prior to solving the clue. In the 25, there is an extra letter in the answer which is omitted from the entry.

Some very difficult clues here, I thought.

I'm all finished, but I still don't understand the parsing for 18A or 22D.

Could someone explain them, please?

18A is osmic with sot , 'S' is extra. 22D I don't follow it either .

Breaks the back of = CHINES + (N)E = North-East

Likewise I've finished the puzzle - but can't understand the parsing for two clues that I don't think have been mentioned yet: 12 and 28.

Can any kind soul offer some help?
