I don't remember watching Armchair Theatre, Les, although it sounds vaguely familiar. Apparently it ran from 1956 - 1974. I was probably too busy in those days to watch much TV!

I enjoyed watching Tales of the unexpected too, and I aso went to Midnight Horror movies at the Odeon cinema in the late 60's ( films which were more humorous than gory).
Curiosity finally got me to crawl out from behind the sofa yesterday to watch the final part of "inside number 9" It was a well-constructed tale but the "frying of the rump" caused me to switch off earlier . I am now fully recovered :-)

I enjoy watching operations (on TV). The blood and gore doesn't worry me. However, I always have to look away when the first incision is made!
