Quick ... before 1246 hits the desk! Can someone put me out of my worry? Why would a flowing Turkish garment (1d) H--- S---T be "hair shirt"? Or am I completely off course? And (18a) do I need to know the name a real "new editor" for The Times ... or is it not as simple as that?
