Hi all, Just had a look at this.
Hm. Seems to be multi-teaser.
Would have been nice to know which 7 clues are double-jointed to which 7 clues, which 14 have extra words and which 7 are straight-forward cryptic clues.
Will take a bit of doing this month.
In Aussie parlance - a "VLADDY" beauty !

I'm sure we can find out. I've been trying to work backwards spotting pairs of word which might be 'correctly paired' to lead to the first set of pairs. There are plenty.

I haven't actually found any yet!

23d is a good place to start. Name of a university. Change a letter.will give you one half of a pair.

NOT making any progress with this. :=((
(got 1 straight solution, I think (4d))
Any pointers to identifying the paired clues (or the extra-word clues) would be much appreciated.

Well ... 23 is paired with 1 - though not exactly in the way Jadzia suggests

dizoz - 8a is one with an extra word - it's an anagram clue

Dizoz - 12ac is a normal one - just to give you variety!
Once everyone's had plenty time with this could someone explain the wordplay for 18dn? I have the answer from the definition. It was the last one I got.
