Yet another last one eludes me! 15D Butterfly catcher with clipper gaining weight? P-N-E-T-N. Looks like Pinkerton but where's the parsing? Weight/ton but where's the pinker?

Doesn't a Pinker pink, ie cut? So pinker could equal clipper. (I'm thinking of pinking shears... or something similar!)
