Thank you all very much. I have not got very far with my projected booklet " The rivers of Northamptoshire" so not up to speed on Yorkshire. I remember the dales rivers fronm GEog 1952!!1 Nidd, Ure, Swale Wharfe don and Ouse. BTW theres a R. Jordan in Northants.
