Here we go again! Stuck on 30d and 40a. Help please.
To be resorted to when hanger is encountered over old item of clothing (4). I have GO??. Also, one might find cherry pit in this in Gordon's kitchen or bit of ox leg (3)

One might fancy... Oon,Scottish word for oven (+ o/ bit of ox+on/leg). There's a misprint in the clue.
30 Goto/Go-to, I think.

I think jogamel forgot to mention that there were misprints in many of the clues - so you weren't to know!

And now my knowledge of nursery rhymes must be sadly lacking Malone. Have you found all the relevant letters? I have not got enough.

I was much later starting this one, jogamel, so have quite a way to go - I might need to pick your brains later!

There are slightly different versions of this nursery rhyme.

It's also something you recite while playing a sort of game with interlocking fingers of both hands - to amuse a child.
The puzzle is absolutely brilliant I think.
