Think of your old chaps as part of the armed forces! The whole answer defined in chambners as "an empty bottle"
Now going to investigate small oak trees and card games! Good luck
Have found about 80, which includes an awful lot of words I didn't know existed but seemed to fit the clues! Still struggling to make 16 and 45 fit in to the answers I want them to be, and no idea where to start on the rest.
Lizzie, Calliewag and probably others who have been shouting the very obvious answer to 14 at your computers. Got it...very similar meaning to the answer to 85. On we go. Thanks for your help.
Hi everybody !!!Does anyone have an extra clue for 24. Odds on the old Bishop having an ornamental fashion accessory (7) My only thought keeps returning to Bishop Tutu but I cant fit it in anywhere. Would be grateful for your ideas !!!
The odds are the Starting Price, the adress of a bishop is Right Reverend. A Scot would probably say this isn't an ornamental fashion accessory as there are no pockets in kilts
