That is new to me

Is it really flytrap? Can't find it anywhere

Don't laugh but I just did a search with the question "can you trap flies with starchy flour?". Flour is included within the list of the various ingredients you could use. I've certainly never heard of it before. I wonder if anyone can enlighten us.

I too would like to see a definition - there are many ways to catch flies

Jam in a saucer for example but you wouldn't call Jam a Flytrap.

The only word I can think of for starchy flour is FARINA
but that is only 6 letters.

If 7 letters, TAPIOCA or CASSAVA? I wonder if the OP has inadvertently posted the wrong clue or answer.
