Hi, Rusty!
I wish that I could say the same about the weather here ......... but we have the most dreadful thunderstorms raging... the thunder is deafening - the lightning is scary.....and the rain is absolutely torrential.
Our back patio is flooded..... and we have water coming into the lounge over the front bay window!
I have placed a bucket underneath!
I know that this is negligible, though, and we are coming off extremely lightly compared to conditions in some parts of the South.....
We can so far count ourselves lucky!
Yes, I do so agree about Maddox.......as I said , I did phone in a vote for him!
The Lost Voice Guy and the D - Day singers are not to my taste...but I can see that they would arouse patriotic fervour......
My particular favourites are Jack and Dad, Father Ray, Ronan and Gruffyd, Maddox (who is now out of the running) , the other magician Marc Spelmann, and the younger version of Diversity.
I admire the young girl in the wheel chair and her friends.... and they deserve to do well .
I cannot think of anyone else I especially like, off hand?
I 'd better go empty the bucket....!

Hello, Elle!
I thought your thunderstorms had passed!
I agree with your choices.
Paddy P is going 7-1 about Gruffyd winning, and I have had a small wager on him!
It is a pity about Maddox, let's hope Marc Spellman makes it to the final.
Yes, looking forward to Young Diversity (not sure what they are called!)
I liked the young girl in the wheelchair and her friends, too, "Rise"?, but I can't see them getting to the final, though.
I am looking forward to it.
Dec is doing fine on his own!

Hi, Rusty!
DVJ.......Diversity Junior, I think?
I was reading that some viewers considered it was "cheating" for the dance troupe to have been coached by Ashley Banjo.
As Ashley was a previous winner, it was claimed that DVJ's progress so far has been a "set up".
I cannot see the justice of that?
Surely it is immaterial who coached the youngsters?
It is their own talent this is "on trial".... and their own efforts that will get them through...or otherwise?
What do you think?
Yes, Hollie's group is called "Rise".
I hadn't known that Hollie's aunt died in shielding her from the bomb blast.
A very brave young woman.
Yes, Dec is doing a great job...but I miss the repartee between him and Ant!
They are a good combination.

Hello. Elle!
BGT, as far as I know, has no published rules on "cheating".
And some viewers will always find something to moan about!
I think it is great that Ashley is choreographing another young troupe of dancers.
He had Diversity drilled to perfection and I hope the youngsters are every bit as successful.
Diversity were very popular winners!
We need more Ashley Banjos on the show!
A very likeable young man!
I knew about Hollie's aunt, poor lady.
Ant will be back next year, but Dec is doing away fine, I reckon.

Hi, Rusty!
At last, we are having a brief spell free from rain......I have never before experienced storms as severe as this!
I hope this abysmal weather doesn't travel north.....believe me , you do not want it!
Younger daughter ran into trouble with the trains going home from work..... delays and cancellations down to "the weather"!
I am planning to watch BGT in a moment....
I am no great television lover, so am finding this "daily dose" a tad too much.......although I do not want to miss it!
I wonder why this couldn't be taken at a slower rate?
Surely the shows could have gone on for another few weeks instead of cramming it all together in one week?
Anyway..... here we go!
I wonder who is performing tonight?

Hello, Elle!
The forecast here is for good weather.
It has been a lovely evening!
I have just watched BGT!
The acts I liked best were, Andrew Lancaster, Ronan, and Donchez.
I do not think any of them will win, but they appealed to me.
It is the adverts that get me.
Now I know why I normally record the shows so I can whizz through the ads!

Hi, Rusty!
We are supposedly having rain throughout the night, and until 10 o'clock tomorrow morning!
And more thunderstorms on Thursday!
I wonder whether my "new" path has been washed away?
I am with you in liking Andrew........I think he is a marvellous impressionist!
And I like the young boy, Calum.
I think Ronan has a wonderful voice, but I was a bit disappointed with his performance this evening...
I didn't think he conveyed enough emotion?
But these three are my favourites.
It is time now for the results!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, your forecast is fairly grim!
Yes, hope the new path holds firm!
I did not know Ronan's song, or whatever film it was in.
I think he is a good singer though, but I think Gruffyd is better, more passionate.
There is something about the Welsh and singing, they seem to excel at it!
I thought, too, that Amanda's outfit was awful!

Hi, Rusty!
Well...I thought the results were very disappointing!
I do agree with the selection of Calum - I thought him a very good singer, very appealing, and the rendering of the song to his mum was very endearing.
But I really liked Andrew.....I thought him very good and very clever.
And I was very sorry to see him go home.
And I personally would have put Ronan - lack of emotion regardless - in the top three.
I'm afraid I didn't like David's Golden Buzzer choice , Donchez Dacres.
Yes, he got the judges and the audience participating ..but it was really just a rerun of the audition .
Not very versatile or enterprising?
I am surprised he was the outright winner of tonight's show.

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here!
How are you and the thunderstorms getting on?
Is your new path still there?
I liked Donchez, but I take your point about a rerun of the audition, and Simon specifically asked him if he had something different for the final.
We shall see!
I still do not think we have seen the winner this week...yet!
Just off to buy my paper.
