Typical - as soon as I submitted I "saw it"!!!

I'm hopelessly stuck on last clue: 7d. I've got all the crossing letters but I can't make any sense of the clue. Any hints anyone?

It's hard to give hints, but I'll try...

Everybody = the first word in the answer
Heads = Heads of State/Government

I had thought of a four word film but the clue has numeration of (3,10,3) - should it be (3,3,10,3)?
If the letter has to be removed several times, then that would work.

yes remove "it" 4 times

But very irritating - I've been looking at this in frustration for ages trying to make sense of a three word film title instead of four words.
I suppose it's no more than we've come to expect from Genius crosswords.

The proper numbering was mentioned on the first page of this thread, and I had the later Guardian version with the proper numbering.

Ref. the instructions.
"The deleted letters in clue order...."
Does it mean numerical order or the across answers followed by the Down answers?
Thanks to anyone who points me in the right direction.

It's the clue order as the clues are given - all the letters from the Across clues spell out one word, from the Down clues you get the other.
