I'm not enjoying this (isn't 17,1 an awful clue?). Quite a few missing on RHS. I have one theme answer to get, which would fit in either 24a or 27a (or 11a or 13a, but I can't find anything to fit in those). I can't parse either, so could anyone tell me which light it is, please?

I have GOING UNDER - "joining the fish", but what is the "almost ready for the table"?
