I'm assuming it's an anangram of WHENONESMATERIALS.

It is an anagram, and in a way, relates to 22 d,, etc. I've just finished this, and I've found some of the answers very obtuse - but perhaps I've got them wrong. Please post your opinion when you've finished it.

If something is a lemon it is usually defective (often a dud car is referred to this way) and "The answer is a lemon" means an unsatisfactory response
