Nearly finished, two to get. 23d and 26a. ---o- and ---d--. My brain hurts, been at this for hours.

Sorry, should have said that these are two of the 15 which have no clues.

They are both a possibility as Nixon was born in January and Gandhi died in the same month. And that is the common link in all the blank clues.

I think Challenger - 30d - is correct as the Challenger space shuttle exploded in January
Barbara Dickson -10d -wrote a song called January February
