btw a few weeks ago, Jupiter was showing so clearly that I could see the Galilean satellites using my (bird-watching) telescope.

You must have quite a powerful telescope ChrisE. I have only my husband's rather weighty binoculars for bird-watching. I should have remembered IO as this often appears as "moon" in crosswords. The clever use of "Satellite dish" threw me. Thanks again.

PS another one of those pesky "cricket" terms "stumped" me for a while until the penny dropped.
