Thanks AB - re-think needed.

First time i've attempted Joint, really enjoyed it. Great clues from everyone

Just a few left. Any hints appreciated!

28ac (I can find only one word to fit, but doesn't seem to have anything to do with the clue)
39ac (first word looks fairly certain, but I can't find anything to follow it)
54ac

I'll leave the setters of the others to their own clues-

11 down is a triple definition, with the first "word" actually two words and the last word a "visual" clue.

Thanks AB. That was my best bet, but I hadn't seen it all.

Chris - still need a hint for 39a? Get those cogs into gear!

As I haven't replied to one of my posts (yet), I hadn't realised I am recapitalised. I did notice that AB was, though!

Darned if I can remember now. I always use CH to keep it fair.

Several names appear with their original caps, but not all. Maybe the timing of registration?
