Not a spoonerism. Spooner was a reverend. re is scripture, and scratching head is nd, always is ever

As usual, I need the parsing on one of my answers.

I have KIDNEY STONE (renal) calculus. I can see the stone part, but not the rest.

I do think its rather sloppy to lift HOC out of a particular context.
After the event should produce Post Hoc.
HOC in isolation can only strictly mean THIS
