There was a previous thread called "the wee stinker", which you may have seen by now.
If not, for 20d., "... or about partners", firstly, turn "or" about, then think "bridge partners" for the other two letters.
3d, 5d, and 21d, 15d, are another clue to the "partners" of the answer....
