I've GOT it..needed a nudge though, it was that Indian city that caused the problem.! As for that anagram...should've realised most of the 'Lost World" creatures had names beginning with ooops..won't give the game away Mags.!

Amazing how once I cry for help I get a brainwave.! Thanks Mags. I'd made a mistake with 12a...had the four legged creature in mind..(wrong mule i.e.)..I rectified that and everything fell into place.

Well, that wasn't exactly a walk in the park. It took me the best part of an evening to crack this one. Last to fall was the Asian city, which I thought was a very good clue when I eventually got it. Annoyingly, Mrs P got it in about two minutes, because she had been there. Yah, Boo.

A bit wet here this morning,, so I shall spend time looking out the window.
