Hi, I have finished - I think !
Just wanting some clarification of why I have the answer I have for 8ac.
It sounds right and its a drug but I cant understand where the boy in the clue come in ? Can anyone give me a clue ? thanks

Good Afternoon, All. Quite interesting this week, and too difficult. I liked 19 across, which incidentally, was the last to fall.

No ferries here today. Loch Shira is just back from its annual overhaul, and after about four days in service, it packed in. It was fine before it went away.

Pipesmoker. I read your comments on last weeks thread and I have to say I agree with you that I do not like the new format. Just like your ferry boat, why change things when they worked perfectly well before!!! But at least all the duplications seem to have stopped.

Meanwhile I am very stuck on 2D and even the hint about it being connected to church makes it no clearer. Also stuck on 1980s drama but will consult the TV listings here for that.

I think the drama was based on a novel by Mrs Gaskell.
Have another read of the hints for 2d - it should be fairly obvious.
