Ahhh, thanks for the bass drum and lemon cheese. On the 21A, I have the t as the second t in the word "intonate", which is 5d (reciting like a chant 8). Maybe it's "intoning" instead?? Which would make 21A then "b?n?n?/s?i?". Is that better?

Much better - the answer is a traditional slippery thing (though apparently it isn't!)
