Chrisg - it`s not holding back the dementia that well, is it? I think I put in the `a` because I was thinking the answer must be the doggy one but couldn`t see where `whip round` came in. Shades of S&M ??

crikey, Mags, if you can think of answers in terms of S&M I don't think you have anything to fear from dementia!!!

Just finished. Quicker than last week's. I was stuck on 7a for a while, not realising it was the jet. Off to do some gardening and get some sun.

Well, never got as far as the kitchen - couldn't resist the puzzle - two left, but ready to concede defeat....
