No, i've got the answer but it seems that part of the clue is missing(the definition part).

Aha! It seems as though you are both correct and that there is no 'definition'.

i'm still baffled here,how does 'xerophile = no definition'

Just a thought, perhaps the compiler is making a joke that "x" is usually the unknown (in crosswords and maths) and that thus the definition of the x word is unknown.
Not exactly hilarious, but plausible.
