Pipesmoker - congratulations on another win. Mind you don't burn holes in the T-shirt.

Hi All - Stuck on one again, even with Navigators help I can't work out 11a, so any further help would be appreciated. Glad to hear your good news Old Gal and hope you carry on improving Navigator. Didn't celebrate the 14th as we do our celebrating on the 15th - our wedding anniversary (43!!!), where does the time go?

Hi butterfly
11a plural of an alternative word for "centre" (as in centre of the community, or the centre of a group of cells )First 2 letters = 13th letter of the Greek alphabet. The remaining 4 anagram of lice.
Congratulations on 43 years. Hope you had a good celebration.

Old Gal, Congratulations on your wonderful news! I hope the other thing is nothing serious.
Navigator, thanks for your help; it was nu's to me! I had the right answer to 20d, but I think it's a weak clue.
Those of you who were alone on the 14th, perhaps you could borrow a certain person's flash Jaguar to impress members of the opposite gender?

Hi, Bees (not the Edinburgh football team), Yes, what girl could not be wooed by sitting at the side of the road waiting for the tow truck. Very romantic.

Best wishes.

Good morning all. I'm feeling very happy
enjoying the special hug bestowed upon me
by Old Gal. I'm so glad that you've got the
all clear from cancer and that you're
starting to enjoy life again. I hope that
the Tarkov cyst will be dealt with speedily.
I'm still on the daily dose of thalidomide
with monthly chemo infusions and blood
transfusions. The big C in my case is
Myeloma (bone marrow).

Me again.
Perhaps my previous post is not quite the thing for a crossword forum, but I feel that we are all a lot closer than just a collection of odd bods interested
in puzzles.
With best wishes,

dear Navigator
You are so right - we surely are a lot closer than just "virtual" friends and if it helps to share problems, whatever they may be, you can have the support of others here.
I send you a big hug too. Keeping positive along with your wonderful sense of humour will work a little bit of magic along with the medicine. I wish you well.

Hi Navigator,
This is definitely the right place to share your woes! We all send our best wishes.
Old Gal, I've just been reading about Tarlov Cysts. From what I understand they seem rather nasty. I hope it's soon sorted.
