Take 2 key words on my PS above,think of a TV series:9a is a pun on the title,the 4 solutions indicated there have to do with it,and 2others also but in a different sense
--- more I dare not say (rules of the book, so to speak).BTW I struggled too!

This crossword presents a couple of fine examples of the juxtaposition trick.
This is found often in cryptics. The answer is to never accept that two adjacent words (or letters!) are actually linked even when they seem so compatible!
