I can see bathe is hidden but can't see why that is the answer. Can you please explain how that relates to takes cover?

the phrase 'Combat hero' takes,(has)bathe.
covered in,eg.sunlight = bathed.

In the sense that one is bathed in sunlight or bathed in glory
