Spread Bet?

Thank you for a superb collection of clues, which I have to say are becoming more inspired by the week, but which make selecting a winner very difficult. I particularly liked samak's lateral effort, and ixion's witty and topical entry, which just fell short because of the disconnect between a singular noun (circulation) and plural verb (are). Harsh, I know, but fair. Eventually I plumped for sudokulover's quick-off-the-mark bad actors. Congratulations!

Sadly, I won't be around for Clueless for the next 3 weeks, but I'll be back again in August.

Gosh! I am overwhelmed - it was my first attempt at Clueless! I love my prize Bullfrog! I shall have to get my thinking head on for next week!
